Baby Rubber Plant (Peperomia Obtusifolia)

The Baby Rubber Plant is a popular, low-maintenance, and compact houseplant known for its thick, succulent-like leaves and glossy appearance.

Lighting:

  • Bright Light

  • Medium Light

Watering:

  • Water the plant when the soil is almost completely dry, once every 1-2 weeks.

Environment:

  • Do not place plant directly in the path of blowing air-con units.

  • Low watering needs: The plant has succulent-like leaves that store water, so it does not require frequent watering. It is best to let the top 50% of the soil dry out between watering.

Tips:

  • Sensitive to over-watering: can lead to root rot, yellowing leaves, a mushy base, and drooping.

  • Vulnerable to direct sun: Intense, direct sunlight can scorch its leaves, causing them to turn yellow or develop brown spots.
